Join the happy ‘self- catering’ campers of the Heavy Wagon Trail for 7 relaxed days of wagoning/riding. Starting off from St. Bathans and skirting around the Hawkdon and Ida ranges before meandering through some Naseby Forestry, through Kyeburn and back around to Ranfurly.  “Absolutely beautiful!  Classic Graham Sydney country.”  There will be two trail BBQ evenings so bring some meat. Mostly farm tracks, some gravel roads, only a couple of km’s of seal. We take it easy –  no more than 25km per day.

    I am interested in this trail but do not have a horse. Have done 3 Stu Moore trails 2011-2013 on borrowed horses. Rob, is your spare horse still available, and if so on what conditions?

    we are going on the heavy wagons and am wondering which is the easiest way to get to where ever we meet at riversdale. do you know the exact place?
    Ialso have a spare horse which has done many rides beforeCheers Rob
