I may have avaliable a fit n ready to go Horse for anyone who may need a hire horse at short notice , Fee very very negotiable NO learners or begginer riders plz . The experience would be great for him so Happy to loan at very minimal cost. I was going to go this year but due to change in plans changed my mind . Avaliable to approved rider only who MUST come n ride him first to see if he and you get on all happy . he has trekked in 40plus horses and been fine . but is young in his education started 8 mths ago and trekked but not much else .027689612

SADDLE BLANKET FOR SALE

Gorgeous, hand woven, natural, undyed wool saddle blankets.

The area directly under the saddle has a thicker, looped pile to provide extra comfort for your horse and the saddle flap area is single weave to allow close leg contact. This one blanket is the equivalent of using a thin blanket and a separate sheepskin half pad, providing an all-in-one blanket.

The natural, woven, wool fleece has a natural bounce that provides a soft cushion for your horses back – wool breathes and absorbs wet & sweat. These blankets are perfect for trekking, training, hunting, endurance, beach riding.

In stock at present: two brown fleece blankets with a gold stripe along the bottom. Designed for under English style saddles.

Hi, I’m looking for a horse to hire for Alistair Gibson’s ride. We’ve just had one of ours go lame unfortunately so desperately trying to find a fit and experienced horse to use for a “seasoned” rider! We are based in Culverden, North Canterbury and can transport it if possible from here but preferably would like to find a horse near the location so we can bring less floats.

Hi,
I am planning on doing Stu Moore’s trail this year and wonder if anyone would have space in their float/truck for my 16hh Standardbred. I will share fuel and other transport costs. Can float myself up to Ettrick, but would prefer to share the trip with someone else if possible. I am based in Wairio.

Hi, does anyone doing Stu Moore’s trail and passing through Dunedin have a spare space in their float? My usual way of transporting my horse and me to the start of the trail fell through this year. My horse is very friendly to other horses and floats well. Of course I’d be more than happy to share costs.
