A record of all the trails from 1991 – 2007 with bits and pieces of history built around them for future reference. Recognising and appreciating the cooperation of landowners in crossing their land and using their woolsheds, as well as the dedication, the many hours of unpaid labour by trail bosses and all support crews, in putting a trail together to give hundreds of people the pleasure of seeing country that they would never have seen otherwise, has been the driving force behind this story.
Over 200 photos from a variety of photographers, this book is A4 size. Special price for direct orders!!

Hi Marianna, please check out these contacts here http://cavalcade.co.nz/classifieds/ for horse/gear hire. Are you and your brother very experienced riders and will you both by nice and fit come Feb next year? Alistairs trail is one of the hardest so not realy ideal for people who possibly haven’t ridden for many years… Alistairs contact details will come out with the registration form 1st November. Are you a member of the trust? Best you join up to give yourself the best chance of securing a spot on Alistairs trail http://goldfieldstrust.org.nz/2009/06/12/otago-goldfields-heritage-trust-membership/
All the best.
Terry

Hi Sian, give Brian Fraser a call on 437 0653, he has a horse to give away to a good home – we took her mate (also free) after the Cavalcade and she’s going to be fine – they just hadden’t been ridden in a while.
